Gupt Navratri: A Sacred Observance in the Old Indic Tradition

Gupt Navratri, or the "Hidden Nine Nights," is a deeply esoteric and meditative observance within the Old Indic spiritual tradition. Unlike the widely celebrated Sharad and Chaitra Navratris, Gupt Navratri is lesser-known and practiced primarily by advanced seekers and practitioners of Tantra and inner sādhanā. It is dedicated to the worship of the ten Mahāvidyās, the ten great wisdom goddesses, each representing a unique aspect of the divine feminine energy (Śakti).

Hi, I'm Srividya. I am growing steadily as a healer. 7 years ago if someone told me they had PMS or acne or varicose veins, I would have just referred them to an alternate healing practitioner or asked them to read up about chakra cleansing. #1   The Calm Beauty

I began to question BEAUTY and what it meant to me the first time I saw a drop dead gorgeous woman spit venom in front of me, thank god for, it wasn't directed towards me. But that image of that beautiful face speaking filth and watching her face contort left a lasting impression on my mind. It made me rethink what "beauty" meant to me. Beauty to me has everything to do with comfort in ones own skin(body). The laughter generated by a body which is in connect with itself, sounds like a musical note, tinkering of bells or the sound of a baby. Its innocent and fresh because it is real and spontaneous.
